Leslie Tergas
Leslie has a cross-disciplinary design background—Lic. Architecture,
(University of Florida), MFA User-centered Exhibition Design Methodology,
(University of Michigan), MA Design Planning Studies (IIT Institute
of Design).
She has experience as a self-employed visual
communication designer and as a strategist and researcher working
for VSA Partners. Leslie has been involved in the academia, first
as a teacher and researcher in the United States (University of
Florida), in New Zealand (Massey University) and in México
City (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México).
Leslie has worked for a number of clients,
which include: IBM, Steelcase, Baker Furniture, Mead Corporation,
and Banorte among others.
Leslie´s expertise is focused on participatory
design methodologies, cultural human factors, and design and facilitation
of collaborative strategy sessions. Fluent in English and Spanish,
Leslie is empathetic to Latin American culture due to wide travel
in the area and a bicultural upbringing.
