Luis Quental Pereira

Luis is an industrial designer with special focus on managing user centered design processes. He acquired expertise working as industrial designer and design policy manager for Bosch, as design process consultant for Steelcase and as user experience design leader for IconMedialab where he was project team leader for large clients in Portugal and Spain.

His main interests are related with design thinking and the possibility to improve design practice through a deeply user centered and business minded approach.
He holds a degree in Industrial Design from Lisbon University, Portugal; a Masters in Business Science from ISCTE, Portugal and PhD studies from the Institute of Design, IIT, Chicago.

Luis is fluent in Portuguese and English with a good hold of Spanish and French as well. His spare-time passion is the sea; anything like sailing, snorkeling, swimming, or just rubbing his feet in the sand makes his day.
